NO. Claire abandons Aaron and wonders off into the jungle, sure Charlie dying meant that Aaron, Sayid, Hurley, Kate, Jack and Sun got off but they came back anyway! As i said pointless. Although I think it was pretty awsome that Hurley can spoke to Charlie and we all know that people dont stay dead on the island. As the reason that Kate came back to the island was to find Claire, I think that it would be really cool to get him back in his "yes im dead but im still here" form to help Kate find Claire..... OMG Charlies death was so pointless, he died cause he thought by him dying Claire and Aaron would get off the island, Did they? NO.

Charlie doesnt have to die. It ruins the show....anybody else isnt important. the ones that should live from the oceanic flight 815 survivors are Jack, Kate, John locke, Claire, sayid,sawyer,hurley, sun and jin (but we know he dies and even then thats better than charlie dying!)
